Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Project Controls Manager for immediate employment for a project in San Mateo, CA.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage Project Controls Team

  • Prepare monthly updates for change order status and other tracked EAC/budget changes

  • Maintain status within the Change Orders module

  • Maintain status within the Trends module

  • Create new Control Accounts for changes as needed.

  • Document change order and trend changes for auditing purposes

  • Review CM Change Order log for consistency with Prism changes to maintain reporting and cost forecasting consistency

  • Maintain a historical record of changes that affect the monthly reporting

  • Contingency management, including allocation tracking and maintenance. Update Contingency drawdown table and curve.

  • Contract status & authority tracking, (BBI, Stadler, PG&E, ARINC, On-Call Consultants etc.)

  • Coordinate the Board Authorized Contract Amount, Current Contract Authority Remaining, and Current Available Contract Authority with the Form 8, Financial Summary.

  • In the Prism folder take the latest file from the Prime Contract folder and convert to excel. Use the data to add and update Dispatched/Closed, WD/PO Committed and Invoiced for CNPA.s.

  • Use data from Prism to update the remaining Invoiced amounts to determine specific cost that are Work In Scope, but NOT Originally Priced.

  • Add additional tabs for Tunnel and CEMOF contracts, at a minimum.

  • Update the fiscal year project budget forecasts and monthly projections at the start of each fiscal year

  • Prepare monthly cost review reports to the management team

  • Update Change management financial summaries and documentation for change orders

  • Update change order tables for monthly reporting

  • Prepare cost tables, figures and exhibits for Quarterly progress reporting

  • Balfour monthly progress payment application review (including prompt payment tracking)

  • Represent the Cost controls at meetings

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 15+ years' experience

  • Cost management experience on an FTA funded program

  • Strong MS Excel skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Prism
