Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Electrical Engineer for immediate employment at our Moffett Federal Airfield office. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.
The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to, those listed below.
Work under a licensed electrical engineer in the development of drawings, specifications, and reports prepared under their direction
Researches, develops, designs, specifies, and witnesses the testing of electrical systems, equipment, components, and materials, applying principles and techniques of electrical engineering
Develops and provide information to construction estimators for electrical construction cost estimates
Organizes and conducts site visits for purposes of data collection and evaluation of electrical systems, equipment, components, and materials for projects with and without well-defined scopes
Develops, designs, and specifies facility electrical power systems, facility fire alarm, security, communications and other low voltage building systems, and electrical lighting and control systems for facilities at NASA Ames, both for new facilities and existing facility retrofits
Develops, designs, and specifies site electrical power infrastructure for systems up to and including 115kV, and site telecommunications infrastructure
Develops, designs, and specifies equipment, components, and materials for electrical power generation, distribution, and utilization systems
Develops electrical system models in software such as SKM, ETAP, EasyPower, or equivalent
Apply your knowledge of Facilities Engineering and construction technology and engineering concepts to the specific technical tasks at NASA
Work with a team of driven, supportive, and highly skilled professionals
Represents the Contractor's quality assurance position to the customer, including clarifying findings and recommendations
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree plus 6+ years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education.
Valid Drivers License
Due to the nature of the projects US Citizenship or Green card holder is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET Accredited Institution
10-15 years of work experience
Proficient in AutoCAD and /or Revit

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $190,000K
