Job Summary

AECOM’s Sustainable Infrastructure Group in San Francisco is seeking a senior civil engineer to help with current workload and future marketing efforts.

Assist with Design and project management of projects, while performing the following tasks:

  • Prepare and review design drawings, specifications, cost estimates and technical memorandums and reports for internal and external clients

  • Supervise and assist in Scheduling, Document Tracking, and Client meetings

  • Data analysis to determine trends and develop best practices for management and Navy client

  • Manage Government Property Database

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree Civil and/or Environmental EngineeringEngineering or any of its branches

  • 10+ years of experience designing civil-improvements at a private civil engineering firm and/or state/county/city government agency required

  • California Professional Engineer Certificate (PE) required

  • Valid Driver’s License required

  • Demonstrate an established career in civil engineering for public infrastructure. The work will include projects/industries including but not limited to earthwork, roadways, pipelines, utilities, and green infrastructure

  • Motivated, responsible, and self-starting and able to work effectively independently leading teams

  • Technical Skills:

  • Basic Accounting

  • Project Management

  • Civil Design and Grading

  • ADA

  • Complete Streets Design

  • Utility Design

  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication

  • Auto CAD and Civil3D, Micro Station

  • MS Office, and MS Project

  • Proposal writing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree a plus
