AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance Manager in our San Francisco, CA office. This individual will be responsible for implementing program Quality Assurance Management Plan which includes comprehensive QA procedures that are applicable to design, material/ equipment procurement, manufacture, installation, construction, testing, commissioning, and operations of 25 Kv AC electrified rail corridor with a mixed fleet inclusive of diesel, electrified rail vehicles.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Oversees the management of the monitoring and evaluation process to ensure that AECOM quality management systems are being followed and evidence is recorded and maintained.
Provides guidance to employees within the latitude of established policies.
Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization.
Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including understanding of current business trends.
Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
May have budget responsibilities.
Manages the coordination of activities of a group or department with responsibility for results.
In some instances, may be responsible for functional area and may not have direct reports.
BA/BS degree in related field
8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and education
Bachelor's degree in Quality engineering
10+ years of experience on FTA-funded programs or rail-transit projects and programs
Construction phase experience
Working understanding of MS Word and MS Excel
Strong written and oral communication skills
