Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a Webmaster/Database Administrator to provide technical support for the development and maintenance of the Regional Maintenance Center and Modernization Coordination Office (RMMCO) website and database. The position will be located at Naval Station, San Diego, CA.

Essential Responsibilities :

  • Provide applications for planning, controlling, expediting, and gatekeeping functions associated with removals, modifications and installation of, C4I and CS shipboard equipment and systems.

  • Perform daily verification of the operational system status. Monitor system, application and web server events and error logs to troubleshoot and correct problems.

  • Provide program support to include adapting and modifying alteration documentation, develop and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and evaluate Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).

  • Maintain the RMMCO Database in support of the RMMCO Program.

  • Provide hands-on and instructional training relative to RMMCO for Regional Administrators, gatekeepers and other specified system users to demonstrate overall system functionality and capabilities.

  • Develop metric displays as necessary or requested by the user community to identify anomalies in reported data (e.g. overdue alteration deliverables).

  • Assist SPAWARSYSCEN (SPAWAR), New Orleans, LA (NOLA) personnel in the maintenance and security of the system and RMMCO program.

  • Assist NAVSEA 04RP with the migration of the RMMCO web application and database into NDE.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology field (MIS, CIS, CS) or demonstrated equivalent and two (2) years of experience in IT solution creation and delivery with increased business acumen required.

  • Position requires an active Secret Security Clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.

  • Minimum of five (5) years general computer/database application programming or related experience within last 10

  • Minimum of two (2) years of specialized experience within last 5 years in either the tactical or non-tactical environments; or, one (1) year specialized experience within in last 3 years in tactical and one (1) year within last 3 years specialized experience in non-tactical experience as follows:

  • Tactical; Utilization of text editors; experience with CMS-2M compiler and ULTRA-16 assembler and MTASS support software; experience in system generation and coding, testing and debugging; equipment experience with AN/UYK-20, AN/UYK-43/44 and VAX computers and systems;

  • Non-Tactical: Development of functional descriptions and management information systems; establishing, evaluating and developing projects related to databases, and/or office automation, and/or financial systems, and/or project management applications; experience in technical documentation, and/or specification, and/or technical requirements, and/or user guides, and/or handbooks related to management information systems; experience with VAX or personal computers and associated programs.

  • This is considered an IAT Level 1 position and the requirements of DOD 8570.01 must be met. At least a Security+ certification must be obtained and completion/passing evidence provided to USFF.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience developing and training regional RMMCO administrators, including the use and retrievals of database metrics.

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in use of PERL, as a Common Gateway Interface, HTML, JavaScript, Oracle SQL

  • Plus, Oracle PL/SQL, and POSIX Shell Script (HP-UX 11i).

  • Minimum of 5 years work experience/knowledge in monitoring/resolving error logs; “pushing” program updates through DADMS.

  • Experience in HP-UX, Oracle Database Administration and knowledge of the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) system.
