DCS—Energy

Job Description

AECOM has a position available for a Program Resource & Staffing Manager - Energy to support our Energy team’s large utility programs in Southern California.

This position will primarily support the SDG&E undergrounding program, an exciting and best-in-class program management opportunity utilizing innovative technical methods and collaborative partnerships to reduce wildfire risk to communities. The program is a multi-year, multi-billion dollar program with significant opportunity for growth and impact.

The successful candidate should be a dynamic, self-directed individual. The candidate with strong technical, organizational and communication skills to ensure projects meet communications objectives.

Responsibilities include, but may not limited to, the following:

  • Coordinate and support program leads in the areas of Performance Management,

  • Demonstrate and implement equity and inclusion practices within your team to make our workplace an environment of honesty, inclusion, and respect.

  • Oversee staff resource planning.

  • Regularly engage with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, including DBEs.

  • Support client and subcontractor contract management.

  • Oversight of large and dynamic forecasting for project and staffing pipeline.

  • Oversight of budgeting process for staffing needs

  • Coordinate regularly with program team members in other program functional areas to foster the exchange of ideas and promote cross‐team collaboration

  • Educate staff on program resources and training

  • Establish and maintain reasonable standards of work, communication, and deliverable quality.

  • Support Program Onboarding at Client site

  • Developing Resource Plans

  • Measure and analyze the impact of resourcing on overall program performance metrics

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree and 4+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office products, including and especially Microsoft Excel

  • Experience planning and executing resourcing and staffing plans

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in human relations, marketing, management, communications, planning, or a related discipline is preferred

  • Demonstrated writing skills that include copyediting and familiarity with AP style highly preferred

  • Project management experience and demonstrated organizational skills desired

  • Proficiency with InDesign a plus

  • Experience in relevant areas such as utility programs, renewable energy, capital projects, decarbonization, and/or sustainability desired

  • Relocation is not available for this position

Offered rate of compensation in California only will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $92,869 - $132,339 .
