AECOM SR Business Development Project Manager (Water Resources) in San Antonio, Texas

Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Business Development Project Manager for immediate employment in our San Antonio, Texas location to support our Water Resources practice.

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Business development for water resources

  • Utilizes general engineering design, hydrology and hydraulics, and construction management experience to manage projects effectively

  • Manages portfolio of clients with multiple projects.

  • Responsible for delivering revenues assigned from specific clients as a result of repeat business caused by flawless execution of projects.

  • Has decision-making authority and directs other Project Managers in recognizing risk and uncertainty with plans to mitigate and eliminate such.

  • Directs staff to operate and minimize exposure to claims.

  • Mentoring and training junior level staff

Minimum Requirements

BA/BS and 6+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil, construction management, or water resources engineering

  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas

  • 8+ years of relevant engineering design, construction management, and/or water resources experience

  • Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling concepts and principles.

  • 4+ years experience managing projects (managing proposals, budgets, schedules, and clients).

  • Master's Degree
