AECOM Engineer III Construction in Salt Lake City, Utah

This position is in support of the Salt Lake City Internationa Airport (SLC) Airport Redevelopment Program (ARP). The successful candidate will work on site at the airport as part of this $3.6 billion program. The Construction Field Engineer will report to the ARP Deputy Program Director - Construction and be responsible for the field oversight of specific program scope elements.
Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.
Identifies discrepancies in results.
Provides guidance to entry level engineers.
Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, architecture or related engineering discipline and a minimum of five (4) years of experience on large, complex construction projects or ten (10) years of experience in construction field positions on large complex construction projects.
Candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience on construction projects at major hub airports preferred.
Familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat.
Familiar with interpreting Critical Path Schedules (Primavera 6), and with a PMSS (Primavera Contract Manager, Prolog or Expedition for example).
