Job Summary

AECOM is seeking Disaster Recovery Production Manager to be based in either Baton Rouge, LA; New Orleans, LA; Houston, TX; Austin, TX; Salt Lake City, UT; Murray, UT; Reno, NV; or Sacramento, CA.

Job Summary:

The Disaster Recovery Production Manager will assist with the implementation of Disaster Recovery Programs, including the oversight of reporting staff and distribution of resources within a specific functional area. The Production Manager should maintain a complete understanding of all applicable Program policies and requirements.

The Disaster Recovery Production Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Provide analytical support and expertise in summarizing Program data;

  • Evaluate and present information in a manner that will facilitate senior management's understanding of the results and impact;

  • Monitor production rates and identify roadblocks, need for process improvements, and inefficiencies in processes;

  • Provide oversight of reporting and information systems staff, as needed;

  • Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems;

  • Writing specifications for information systems, understanding operational systems and translating requirements into technical specifications, designing and implementing system modifications;

  • All aspects of information systems and interactions with client provided system. Ability to interact and communicate with staff to understand results desired and create strategies to produce desired requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree + Four (4) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Due to the nature of this work, U.S. Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters Degree preferred;

  • Related professional registrations or certification preferred;

  • 5+ years of disaster recovery industry experience preferred.

  • Advanced level Microsoft Office skills; ability to import, create formulas, pivot tables, export data and run reports in Microsoft Excel; ability to quickly learn new software applications;

  • Experience with CDBG – DR housing and/or FEMA hazard mitigation programs or similar programs/projects

  • 2+ years of experience gathering business requirements and analyzing data

  • 5+ years of professional level experience in reporting, data management, financial reporting and/or analytics

  • Must possess flexibility to respond to and manage different tasks, often with competing priorities

  • Advanced time management skills which utilize high-level strategies that aid staff in managing time, productivity, and effectiveness.
