Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Performs a range of transportation demand management, marketing, and outreach activities, aimed at influencing individual travelers, commuters, and/or students to utilize non-drive-alone means of transportation, including carpooling, vanpooling, public transit, bicycling, walking, telecommuting, and other options
Develops promotes, and helps to implement a range of worksite and/or schools-based operational programs aimed at improving business operations and/or reducing on-site pollutants, to improve overall air quality and mitigate traffic congestion
Outreach activities will be conducted predominantly at worksites and organizations within assigned regions
There will be a balance of required in-office as well as field-work, including traveling to various employer locations to conduct outreach activities
Identifies and conducts outreach and marketing activities to increase business, community and college/university participation in Travel Demand Management (TDM) strategies, including scheduling and holding employer meetings and carrying out necessary follow-up activities, program development tactics and communications plans
Benchmark and analyze growth in TDM services and employer programs on a quarterly and annual basis
Conducts outreach/employer-based program presentations for employers, business associations, civic associations, local government agencies, and others as determined, based on work scope and clients’ needs
Analyzes data from ridematching/tracking programs, geographic information systems, or associated databases
Provides Travel Demand Management guidance to employers and educational institutions
Assists with reporting on program progress for monthly/quarterly reports, including developing written summaries of activities underway in the business/academic community
Participates on Statewide project events which help to further the program’s goals
Proactively offers telework solutions to employer-based partners and stakeholders
Provides initial telework consultations and needs analyses for employer organizations, business associations, civic associations, local government agencies, and others in the State
Works to establish, oversee, and coordinate telework programs, including giving management training presentations, for employer partners and stakeholders within an assigned region
BA/BS or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
A valid drivers' license
Some sales experience
