AECOM Entry Level Structural Engineer in Rocky Hill, Connecticut
AECOM is seeking a Structural Engineer I to be based in Rocky Hill, Connecticut.
This position is expected to begin in October 2021.

Responsibilities include the following:
Structural design and analysis of bridges of various ranges of complexity.
Load rating of existing bridges
Preparing and checking design calculations for bridges and other transportation related structures
Drawing preparation, review and checking
Shop drawing review
Preparation of reports and speciﬁcations
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structural engineering or related ﬁeld
Master's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE)
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Ofﬁce software
The preferred candidate would be detailed oriented and have strong skills in structural analysis, steel and concrete design; and the ability to work in a team environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good time management skills, a strong work ethic, and a willing desire to learn
