Our Roanoke office is hiring a BIM/CADD Technician to be responsible for supporting the Revit modeling and drawing development for the structural engineering department.
Specific duties include:
Setting up structural building models in Revit.
Developing sheets from models.
Modeling structural elements, developing plans, sections and details, under the direction of the engineer.
Representing the structural department in BIM/Revit office committee.
Developing an understanding of Revit capabilities.
Other duties may include:
Managing department software and hardware
Training engineers for Revit use.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma and 2 years of BIM/Revit experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience/education.
Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Engineering Technology
Experience working in the A/E industry
AutoCAD experience is a plus
