Job Description
Carry out site surveys and produce technical feasibility reports.
Carry out equipment sizing calculation.
Support the full project cycle, work closely with site team to provide installation and commissioning support.
Work closely with the design team to ensure that accurate information is available to the wider team
Mentor Junior/Graduate Engineers to promote their technical and professional development.
Liaison and coordination with all applicable Local Authority Departments to obtain approval on design projects.
Coach and develop, as required, other engineers and strive to distribute and share knowledge amongst team members.
Complete understanding of UAE and KSA design guidelines and authorities’ requirements.
Provide design advice, reports and liaison role with other engineering disciplines. Assist the Managers in work coordination between the civil Infrastructure team and other AECOM teams.
Supervise, coordinate and support Engineer and provide design input to CAD Technicians.
Adhere to AECOM Health and Safety and Quality measures including safety in design works.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience
Prior building and Tunneling Design Experience is a must
Consultancy background
Experience in designing large pump station its related facilities and utilities which includes pipework and valve sizing, pump selection with head calculations, HVAC sizing, lifting equipment and filter selection, piping and mechanical equipment layout arrangement.
Complete understanding of UAE and KSA design guidelines and authorities’ requirements
