AECOM is seeking Operations Shift Clerks for the Bluegrass Chemical Agent Destruction Pilot Plant project located in Richmond, KY.
Typical Responsibilities Include:
Perform all work safely and with the utmost concern for the safety of self and other employees.
Perform all work in compliance with environmental permits and regulations.
May be required to work overtime or varying hours to include shift work.
Be at work when scheduled and maintain a good attendance record.
Work in close proximity to and or in a chemical demilitarization facility.
Provide typing and clerical support for the assigned shift, including Plant Shift Manager, Control Room Supervisor, Operations Area Supervisors, and remaining shift personnel.
File, pack and transport to PDCC according to procedures all department-generated documents requiring storage.
Assist in maintaining munitions accountability records in accordance with Army Regulations 50-6 and 710 –2. Maintain and update spreadsheets to produce certificate of destruction, record munitions reject data and provide various munitions data reports.
Generate Overtime Authorization requests for signature.
Act as liaison between Business Operations and Operations for Deltek issues.
Responsible for requisitioning and delivery of office supplies, furniture and materials for Operations Department.
Prepare welcome packet to include a handbook of Operations guidelines and various information for new Operations personnel.
Distribute correspondence, including pick-up at remote locations (PDCC, Admin. Bldg, etc.).
Perform updates and audits of all controlled sets of SOP’s, plans and procedures, P&ID’s, Contingency Procedures and all other administratively controlled documents to ensure most current revision is on file.
Monitor and update Operations Teams, Hazmat Roster, Hotline Roster, Control Room Access roster, and Repetitive Activities list.
Ensure all Operations personnel are notified and in compliance with monthly blood draw and physical requirements as administered by the Medical Department.
Serve as Training liaison for all Operations personnel on assigned shift.
Responsible for maintaining shift roster assignments.
During contingencies and upset conditions, report to Incident Commander to provide data collection and reporting support.
Responsible for generation of environmental inspection packages, tracking and verifying package completion; print, consolidate and verify; follow up with appropriate departments on deficient inspection sheets.
BGCAPP is subject to Army Regulations (AR50-6 Chemical Surety Program and AR190-59 Unescorted Access Program) which govern persons performing work under the Chemical Personnel Reliability Program (CPRP) and Unescorted Access Program (UAP). Eligibility to be placed in a CPRP or UAP position requires US citizenship. Employees must favorably complete a series of screenings to include but not limited to: a National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) security investigation, drug/alcohol testing and medical examination.
All employees are subject to and agree to random drug and alcohol testing as a condition of continued employment for the duration of their assignment. Respiratory screening and the ability to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) may be required for this position. The ability to obtain/maintain access to the Blue Grass Army Depot is required.
High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years’ advanced secretarial, clerical, and administrative experience
Must be a United States or naturalized citizen able to obtain and maintain Blue Grass Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant (BGCAPP) site access
Must be computer literate in common software applications and able to operate general office equipment
Must maintain fitness-for-duty standards to perform the essential functions of the position, to include any depot or BGCAPP drill, contingency and/or emergency requirement
Must be able to have above average communication skills, ability to work effectively with both employees and managers
Ability to convey a positive and professional image
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet deadlines
Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills with ability to coordinate and prioritize projects, adapting to change as they occur
Must be able to solve complex problems and understand the impact of decisions upon the operation of the facility
- Bachelor degree in a business or related field
