Job Responsibilities/Duties

Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS) seeks an Interface, Risk, and Facilities Management Manager. This position is responsible for providing management leadership and direction for the WRPS Interface Management Program and oversight of Risk Management and Facilities Strategic Planning and Program Management.

The Manager's responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide oversight and leadership for the Risk Management and Facilities Strategic Planning and Program organizations;

  • Direct and manage a compliant Interface Management program, which includes establishment of programmatic and interface agreement documents with the other Hanford Prime contractors;

  • Serve as the primary point-of-contact between WRPS and other Hanford Prime contractors related to shared services; establish professional and effective working relationships with other Hanford contractors that receive or provide service to WRPS;

  • Lead resolution of interface issues that involve WRPS, other Hanford contractors, and the U.S. Department of Energy;

  • Serve on the Contractor Interface Board to collaboratively resolve Sitewide financial, contractual, and business challenges;

  • Oversee planning, coordination, and payment of Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant (WTP) J.3, Hanford Site Services and Interface Requirements Matrix (J.3 Matrix) services;

  • Evaluate shared services to develop cost and effectiveness alternatives for management review and agreement between the various Hanford prime contractors;

  • Oversee the coordination of WRPS input for the Infrastructure and Services Alignment Plan and facilitation of Hanford Site Services planning;

  • Support administration of the Tank Operations Contract's J.3 Matrix, J.13, Hanford Site Structures List, and J.14, Hanford Waste Site Assignment List;

  • Assist line management and technical points-of-contact accomplish interface management initiatives;

  • Direct the content and maintenance of the Interface Management website and database;

  • Develop and maintain the Project Integration safety assurance plan and safety programs;

  • Serve as the Project Integration Contractor Assurance Manager;

  • Serve as the Project Integration and Interface Management Control Account Manager and WTP J.3 Matrix services Control Account Manager.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Business, Project Management, or related field; and

  • Twelve (12) years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in complex problem-solving, and in the areas of building effective customer relationships, and interface management.

Knowledge and understanding of Hanford Site services and interfaces.

  • Excellent written and oral skills.

  • Excellent skills of persuasion and problem solving.

  • Excellent negotiating skills along with sound judgment and alternatives development skills.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

  • Control Account Manager experience.
