The Risk Engineer is responsible for supporting the implementation of the Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS) Enterprise Risk and Opportunity Management (EROM) process at project and program levels through the identification, characterization, and capture of risks and opportunity information at program and project levels. Responsibilities include: Compliance with WRPS policies and procedures *Ensuring ISMS principles are incorporated into the organization's activities *Developing and maintaining project and program level risk and opportunity registers including conduction of workshops to elicit risk informationReviewing, analyzing, reporting, and communicating project level and program level risk and opportunity information Ensuring risk metrics are kept current and support other risk communications *Analyzing Baseline Change Requests and supporting development of the associated risk considerationSupporting proposal development through helping with the identification, characterization, handling action development, and analysis of risk.
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Project Management, Construction Management or a related discipline.
Knowledge in at least one of the following areas to perform the position successfully: Project Management, Construction Management, Project Controls, Project Engineering, and Risk Management.Familiarity with project control activities such as schedule and budget development, risk analysis tools to perform cost and schedule risk analysis, and Systems Engineering principles along with the ability to learn and use risk cause and effect software such as Reality Charting is desired.Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired.
