AECOM Back Office Manager in RENTON, Washington

AECOM is seeking a Back Office Manager for our Renton, Washington office.
This position manages daily operations of the back office through the utilization and scheduling of resources and other data available. Major responsibilities include overseeing daily operations of payment processing, customer correspondence, scanning, fulfillment, inventory management, Image Review processing, and Walk-In Center Operations. Effectively manages staff to ensure adequate coverage, performance, and contract KPI compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Understands program key metrics and reports on KPIs.
Identifies the signs that may indicate possible performance opportunities and what areas to focus on to improve these numbers.
Directs supervision of multiple supervisors with indirect supervision of CSRs.
Performs responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Interviews, hires and trains employees.
Plans, delegates and directs work as necessary.
Effectively uses verbal and written communication skills to convey business concepts, strategies and information in a manner that effectively supports the listener.
Manages personnel issues.
Provides employee performance appraisal as well as reward and disciplines employees.
Proficient at conflict management.
Addresses internal/external complaints and resolving problems.
Sets goals and career development opportunities for staff.
Balances financial bottom-line and quality customer service levels.
Performs other tasks as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in business or management or demonstrated equivalent
Eight years of back office related experience including 3 plus years of experience in a management capacity.
One year of experience in a leadership position in a high-volume back office environment.
Understanding of effective human communication, interactions and dynamics
Strong time management skills, problem solving skills and analytical skills
Demonstrated productivity in a team environment, focusing on customer satisfaction
Computer proficient in MS Office
Experience managing a retail operation or live customer service operation.
Experience handling and reconciling cash transactions and deposit preparation.
Mail room and payment processing experience preferred.
