AECOM’s Building Services Team in Brisbane is looking for a Principal Technical Officer to join our Building Engineering team.

Working as a Technical Officer, you will assist with providing drafting design input, coordination and technical support in the production of engineering drawings and documentation for a range of projects. You will be given access to industry-leading technology and technical specialists, working on innovative solutions to the world’s most complex challenges.
This role will see you contribute to a range of complex, technical design tasks on medium to large scale projects across the region. You will also help advance Mechanical, along with other disciplines, in BIM delivery and advancement from modelling process and workflows through to service offer alignment and understanding of BIM delivery aspects – LOD, LOI, model sharing, databasing etc and assist, mentor and train less experienced staff in the use of BIM and all elements of digital delivery.
Minimum Requirements
10+ years’ consistent Revit delivery of mechanical and multidiscipline projects
10+ years’ Revit experience
High Quality Modelling, documentation and Collaboration experience
Engineering design drafting (REVIT) of mechanical projects
Experience working within a Building Services Consultancy
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualification
Automating modelled elements tools (Dynamo) preferred, not essential.
Engineering design collaboration tools (Navisworks, Revizto) for multi discipline projects - preferred not essential.
Drawing management tool (RTV Tools) preferred.
