AECOM Site Survey Manager in Providence, Rhode Island

Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Site Survey Manager to be based out of our Boston, MA office with the ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to read and understand survey notes, sketches, maps, deeds, as-builts, construction plans and drawings and records

  • Ability to use appropriate survey equipment, conventional, GPS/GNSS and laser scanning, to efficiently and accurately perform a wide range of field survey procedures

  • Ability to take survey field notes, sketches and other written records on a daily basis

  • Ability to perform QA/QC to verify that the data complies with the project requirements

  • Performs basic maintenance of the survey field equipment and understand its operation

  • Keeps survey field vehicle in good condition

  • Understands and follows all applicable safety procedures

  • This position will require travel

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS plus 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • 5 Plus years working with either MicroStation or Autodesk products

  • Massachusetts, or Rhode Island Professional Land Surveyor

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS plus 10 plus years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Massachusetts Professional Land Surveyor. MA preferred

  • Must have prior experience and demonstrate effective team leadership. E.g., mentor, train, motivate team for excellence in quality deliverables.

  • Proven track record of successful project management and delivering on time.
