Position Title Building Surveyor

Job Summary

Our Plymouth office is looking for an experience Building Surveyor to join our established team.

The primary responsibilities for the role will be to assist Chartered Building Surveyors in the Team providing Building Surveying and Project Management services for delivery of a number of multidisciplinary projects.

The role will involve acting as the AECOM point of contact for individual projects and will require coordination of the inputs from AECOM technical teams and close liason with Client representatives.

Experience in working with Ministry of Defence projects is desirable

Extension of the role will be to:

Act as project manager on small to medium sized multidispiplinary design projects undertaken by the Plymouth Team.

Eligibility for security clearance for UK MOD Establishments essential.

A willingness to learn and to develop new procedures and processes to ensure the effectiveness of the project management team is desirable

The role will require a flexible approach to working to meet project demands and a willingness to travel outside the South West Region.

A clean driving licence and eligibility for security clearance for UK MOD Establishments is essential.


Minimum Requirements

Experience in the construction industry, preferably in a Building Surveying environment.

Experience in the defence sector desirable. .

Preferred Qualifications

Working towards Professional Associate Member (MRICS) of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Training and/or qualifications as Principal Designer desirable.
