Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Facilities Project Manager for employment in the Pittsburgh, PA office.

The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in vertical facilities Program or Project Management with strength in guiding the execution of construction contract documents, monitoring project financials, and will have previously have worked for an architectural, engineering, construction management, or construction company. Work history within the following fields would be a plus: medical, higher education, K-12; public sector transit, or transportation vertical facilities.

The candidate will be required to provide quality within the framework of AECOM policy and procedures; providing Client Support, Direction, Guidance, and overall caring for the project process.

Demonstrate project experience with the following:

  • Proposal assists and reviews for RFP’s

  • Assisting with business development activities – sales contacts, verbal and written communications

  • Ability to review and comment on Client Contracts and the like

  • Prepare project setup in accordance with client accepted budget, narrative, and schedule

  • Perform monthly project reviews for project finance, schedule, change management, hot topics

  • Review contract documents and contract modifications to determine scope of work and scope changes

  • Review the scope specified and compare it to the construction contract documents for accuracy

  • Coordination with Clients, and oversee Resident Construction Manager and Inspectors

  • Implementation of Safety Programs (Health, Safety, and Emergency Response)

  • Monitor Quality Control and Testing

  • Oversee Inspection of Staff observing Construction and Project Coordination and Observation

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architectural, or construction related discipline

  • 8+ years experience

  • Self-starter attitude with results oriented focus

  • Demonstrate a proactive, firm and respectful approach to project management

  • Proficient with industry tools, software, Microsoft Office

  • Proven accuracy, reliability and completeness in job accomplishments

  • Intelligible and effective oral and written communication skills

  • Due to the nature of this work, qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test

  • Due to the nature of this position, US citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • CMIT or CCM certification

  • PMP certification

  • PE
