AECOM Environmental Compliance & Permitting Engineer in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Job Summary

AECOM has a position available for an Environmental Compliance and Permitting Engineer in Pittsburgh (Greentree), PA office. The successful candidate will be part of a diverse team of engineers and scientists that are responsible for EHS compliance and permitting in the Northeast Region with an emphasis in Ohio, West Virginia and Pennsylvania

The general responsibilities of this role include, but may not be limited to the following:

  • ESH Compliance and Auditing

  • Some field work, outside, possibly in inclement weather at times

  • EHS permit package preparation

  • Report preparation

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering such as Environmental Engineering or related/similar

  • Due to client requirements, at a minimum, must be an EIT

  • 4+ years of experience to include at least 1 of the following

  • SPCC plans

  • Air Permitting

  • NPDES Permitting

  • EPCRA Reporting

  • Safety Plans

Some field work involved will require the candidate be capable of executing such tasks as lifting equipment (approx. 20 lbs.), working outdoors in inclement weather conditions and walking amongst rough, possibly uneven terrain

Must have a valid driver’s license.
