AECOM Entry Level Civil/Highway Engineer in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

AECOM is seeking highly motivated Entry Level Civil/Highway Engineer for the Civil Department in Pittsburgh, PA. Candidates are required to have a BS degree in Civil Engineering. The primary focus of the position will be highway/roadway design and site development projects. Under the supervision of a Project Engineer, the appropriately qualified applicant will be part of a Design Team responsible for the design of medium to large scale highway and roadway projects.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Perform engineering tasks and calculations independently
Work with a multidisciplinary design team of engineers in the preparation of engineering analyses, studies, and detailed engineering plans and specifications
Develop understanding of industry/client standards
Follow corporate quality procedures
Effectively communicate (written & oral) with peers)

Bachelor's in Civil Engineering
Strong problem solving and decision making abilities
Demonstrate the ability to manage time effectively
Demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks on a daily basis
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Relevant internship or professional work experience in support of transportation design
Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software
Experience with Microstation and InRoads software
