Job Summary

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing, coordinating, and administering the pre-construction process on multiple projects , particularly the conceptual stages of estimating, bidding and proposals through actual awards .

  • Experience in vertical construction- hi-rise resi, hotels, condos, casinos and mixed use commercial projects supporting Business Development and pre-construction phases .

  • Ability to work with multiple clients in coordinating all aspects of pre-construction.

  • Reviews bids, documents and data for the project; establishing schedules and budgets for contract obligations. Participates in bid contract negotiations.

  • Takes the initiative in working with all departments in the pre-construction phases, including cost/scheduling, procurement, quality assurance, construction, labor relations, finance and accounting.

  • Initiates and directs the planning and development of the project scope, procedure, budget and overall pre-construction project schedule.

  • Coordinates all client contacts and maintains working relationships at all levels throughout the pre-construction period of the project.

Minimum Requirements

  • BS in Construction management, Engineering, Architecture or related technical field.

  • A minimum of 10-15 years of progressive Construction Project management experience, which includes conceptual estimating and pre-construction work.

  • A minimum of 5+ years in a senior capacity for a larger construction management firm working on multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in conceptual estimating and pre-construction of hotels, hi-rise multi-family,stadium or convention centers or mixed use commercial projects
