AECOM Senior Estimating Manager - Construction in Phoenix, Arizona
AECOM Hunt is seeking a highly talented and experienced Senior Estimating Manager to join our team in Phoenix, AZ starting in the Spring/Summer 2022.

- Responsible for activities related to estimating all elements of project cost including labor (manual and non-manual), materials and permanent equipment, supplies, consumables and expenses, construction equipment rental and operating costs, contingency, escalation, program risk, etc.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for leading estimating projects of up to $ 500 mil in size, leading a team of estimators and operations staff from conceptional stage to contract documentation level.
Responsible for managing, coordinating, and administering the pre-construction process on multiple projects, particularly the conceptual stages of estimating, bidding, and proposals through actual awards.
Experience in vertical construction- hi-rise residential, hotels, condos, casinos, and mixed-use commercial projects supporting Business Development and pre-construction phases. Add professional sports stadiums and arenas
Ability to work with multiple clients in coordinating all aspects of pre-construction.
Reviews bids, documents, and data for the project; establishing schedules and budgets for contract obligations. Participates in bid contract negotiations.
Takes the initiative in working with all departments in the pre-construction phases, including cost/scheduling, procurement, quality assurance, construction, labor relations, finance, and accounting.
Initiates and directs the planning and development of the project scope, procedure, budget and overall pre-construction project schedule.
Coordinates all client contacts and maintains working relationships at all levels throughout the pre-construction period of the project.

- BA/BS + 10 years of relevant construction estimation experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership
Preferred 5+ years in a senior capacity for a larger construction management firm working on multiple projects.
Experience with technology based estimating programs, such as, Winest, Timberline, MC2, and/or Pro-s
Model based estimating experience.
Experience in vertical construction- hi-rise residential, hotels, condos, casinos, stadium, convention centers and/or mixed-use commercial projects supporting Business Development and pre-construction phases. This statement is covered above in Job Responsibilities section
