AECOM Water Resources Engineer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Water Resources Engineer to join our Water group in the Philadelphia, PA office. The selected individual will become an integral part of the design team and will work on exciting projects such as Green Stormwater Infrastructure planning & design and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Prepare engineering related calculations and develop drawings and visual aids
Prepare stormwater management and designs
Prepare design plans (plan views, profiles, sections and details) within Autodesk Civil 3D
Develop H&H modeling, permit applications and planning level engineering studies
Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member
Present design solutions to AECOM project teams and clients

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline with emphasis on Water required
2+ Years of related experience
Experience with stormwater management, design and permitting using AutoCAD Civil 3D
Experience or training in ArcGIS
Experience with the Philadelphia Water Department green infrastructure design program
Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software (SWMM; HEC HMS/RAS; HydroCAD, StormCAD, Biowin, InfoWorks, EPANET
Ability to multi-task and be flexible, along with the ability to adapt to project deadlines
