Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Construction Engineerwith the Transit Transportation team to be based in Philadelphia, PA. This position entails working between the field and office on transit tracks, structures, facilities, and everything within a transit rail right-of-way.
This position is expected to begin in August 2023.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Client Coordination
Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer
Uses computer software to maintain inspection and safety records
Working in the field in all-weather elements
Performing Field Inspections
Balancing office and field work
Intermittent night or weekend work availability may be required
Responding to submittals, pay applications, requests for information and other project processes
Performing field inspections
Creating field sketches, diagrams, and calculations
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field.
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years of experience (working on transit/rail facilities)
Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera/ Microsoft Project
Proficiency in Bluebeam
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, Microstation, and/or OpenRail/OpenRoads
Desire for hybrid schedule – in field, office, or home
Interest in transit construction
Ability to travel to construction sites
