Our Perth based Building and Places team are currently looking for a proven Senior ICT &/or Security Consultant to work closely with our clients, contractors and internal stakeholders across diverse challenges in Defence, Infrastructure (Road and Rail), Health, Government and Commercial Buildings project sectors.

In this role you can expect to;

  • Work as part of a local and national ICT (and security) consulting & advisory team on a diverse range of projects.

  • Be an integral part of Building & Place team and projects, coordinating with architects, landscape designers, electrical engineers and other professionals

  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and partner with internal and external clients

  • Participate in site investigations and utilise strong report writing and verbal communication skills

  • Mentor and guide technical junior and graduate team members.

Subject to your skills, you may lead or liaise with others in the ICT and Buildings team to deliver to our Clients:

  • Security Risk and Threat Assessments, Vulnerability Assessments, CPTED reports.

  • Design of technology systems for buildings and infrastructure ranging from structured cabling systems, core networks, WLAN, Cyber Security, IPTV, audio-visual systems, video conferencing, CCTV, SCADA, electronic access control, intruder alarm, intercom, perimeter intrusion detection and Type 1A Security Alarm Systems.

This role will present you with an opportunity to work on some of the most unique, interesting, and challenging projects in Perth and Australia.

Minimum Requirements

s a Senior ICT &/or Security Consultant in our Perth team, you will have a strong technical background & project experience. Your attention to detail & ability to prioritise tasks and communicate effectively will help you to work in a multidisciplinary team to deliver the right solution, on time, every time.

You will contribute to the growth and development of the team by identifying new business opportunities and responding to tender briefs, as well as ideally having some or all the following:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Engineering, Electronics, ICT, Security, Communications or AV related field of study

  • Demonstrable experience delivering ICT and Security design within a Defence, Transit, or Buildings application

  • To have (or eligible to obtain) a WA Security Licence

  • Demonstrated experience in an ICT and/or security environment

  • Excellent and demonstrable written and verbal communication skills

  • A proven consultative approach, with an ability to work with technical Engineers and non-technical project stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

One of the following, or intention to obtain is desirable.

  • To have (or eligible to obtain) a SCEC Zone Consultant licence

  • To have (or eligible to obtain) a baseline Defence Clearance

  • Familiarity or knowledge of Linkplanner, Ekahau Site survey and EDXSignal (or similar platforms).

  • ICT accreditation, such as BICSI RCDD, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA, ITIL

  • Security accreditation, such as ASIS CPP/PSP, CISSP

  • Prior experience or understanding of Bluebeam, Revit, Visio and AutoCAD, not essential but advantageous.
