We are looking for an Structural Engineer to work located in Paris in a significant Metro Project, from November 2018 to February 2019, in the first stage, and till December 2019 to finalize the Detailed Design stage.

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Be a deputy Head of Structures Madrid Team for this job, placed in Paris

  • Have direct contact with internal and/or external clients, attending constant meetings

  • Provide guidance to Madrid Structures Team (work will be developed at AECOM Madrid office, and the new Engineer will manage and will coordinate from Paris our local resources in Madrid)

  • Analyse and revise Structural and Geotechnical information

  • Develop some rough calculations in order to make first pre-designs before sending to Madrid office

Minimum Requirements

Training and Education:

  • Master Engineering, specialized in Structures.

  • Medium Spanish/English level

  • French proficiency indispensable (writing/speaking)

  • Knowledge of related structural software (Midas, Qubus, Rido, Plaxis, etc.)

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum experience of 5 years in similar projects, both in Structuraland and Geotechnic items (Metro stations, diaphragm walls tunnels, shafts, etc.)

  • Experience in team management

General Skills:

  • Proactive and enthusiastic

  • Be impactful with strong interpersonal and management skills

  • Be decisive, through prioritizing and focusing on the needs for achieving results and taking and accountability for actions taken, and ensure decision making is based on facts.

  • Be ethical
