We are actively seeking a Wayfinding Planner for immediate employment in our Orlando, FL office.
Our ideal candidate will be highly motivated and collaborative with experience in a variety of markets. Time management and strong organizational skills are required to handle multiple tasks to meet demanding deadlines. Strong communication, verbal, written, and presentation skills. Able to work collaboratively with a wide range of professional disciplines, peers, and clients with a positive attitude.
Under minimal supervision, responsible for preparing design intent documents for signage from concept through completion for assigned projects in conformance with the requirements, applicable codes, and design criteria.
Fully understands the process of preparing documents using project specifications and discipline-associated written and verbal instructions in accordance with established design practices, standards, and procedures.
Possesses a solid level of understanding of planning for wayfinding and signage systems.
Understands the ADA, codes, and permitting related to wayfinding and signage.
Intermediate knowledge of the discipline’s materials costs and concept of cost analysis.
Reviews and marks up deliverables prepared by other team members.
8 years minimum full-time employment related to wayfinding planning and project management
ADA and building code knowledge/experience
Due to the nature of this work US citizenship is required
Must be open to travel
Undergraduate degree in industrial design, communication/graphic design, experience design, architecture, digital media, urban design, or comparable field
Time management and organizational skills
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, fabricators, and other team members
Knowledge of materials and fabrication/installation methods used in wayfinding and signage

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $61063.44-$112967.37.
