AECOM Air Force NEPA Project Manager in Orlando, Florida
AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Senior National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Project Manager with experience supporting the Air Force and other Department of Defense (DoD) agencies. This position can be performed remotely and we are seeking candidates in Arlington, VA, Germantown, MD, and Orlando, FL . The successful applicant will join a network of existing AECOM NEPA and Impact Assessment and Permitting (IAP) specialists across the US and will have the resources of more than 3,500 environmental planning staff available to assist in project delivery.

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Ecology, Natural resources, Wetlands management, Geology, Acoustics, Aviation planning, other planning, or an earth science-related field
6+ years of experience managing projects and teams to scope, schedule, and budget
6+ of experience of NEPA experience
U.S. citizenship is required, due to the nature of this work
Valid Drivers License required.
Master’s degree in relevant field
10+ years industry experience, preferably with NEPA consulting to the Air Force, DoD or other Federal clients in multiple locations
5+ years of experience working in a fast-paced consulting environment
Demonstrated experience with NEPA, including ability to manage projects, interdisciplinary teams, and workload, as well as interface successfully with Clients
Demonstrated experience preparing proposals, including major (SF330) and minor (Task Order) Proposals, cost estimates, and schedules.
Thorough working knowledge of Federal, notably Air Force, DoD, and NEPA, requirements and processes
Prior Air Force or Space Force NEPA/Environmental Impact Assessment Process (EIAP) experience related to airspace and ranges, beddowns, aircraft and airfield operations, noise, new weapon and radar systems, satellites, military construction, or other related actions
Existing, mature, and tested Client relationships (i.e., Air Force Civil Engineer Center [AFCEC]) with an ability to generate new work for the Team, Office, and Company
High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently with limited supervision, as well as in a collaborative team environment
Excellent communication skills, including both oral and written (writing sample required)
Organizational management skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work
Self-motivated, driven, and hard working
Occasional overnight travel required
Professional certification(s) – PMP, CEP, PE, AICP or similar
Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance
Excellent and relevant references
