Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Training Developer for immediate employment for the Orange, CA office. This position is on-call and is contingent upon the winning of contract work. The position is part time variable (0-20) hours per week.

The position may include one or more of the following:

  • Develop stormwater training and guidance materials.

  • Deliver Stormwater Training.

  • Prepare Powerpoint slides and complete presentations

  • Update current Powerpoint presentations.

  • Be familiar with and use projector and thumb drives, USB ports, and remotes.

  • Prepare Level I and II evaluations.

  • Work with client training coordinators to set-up and schedule courses.

  • Work within client learning management system (LMS)

  • Keep track of stormwater regulations potential client issues with compliance.

  • Be familiar with online stormwater regulation and permit sites and pages.

  • Be familiar with Caltrans Stormwater guidance.

  • Recommend updates ot the various stormwater guidance and training modules.

  • Identify stormwater issues with planning and design, construction, maintenance and right of way and recommend solutions.

  • Work with videographer to develop training videos.

  • Other services may be requested based on contract needs and available skills.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering Discipline

  • 5+ years Stormwater training and guidance development experience.

  • Experience with Powerpoint and internet.

  • Current Qualified Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) Developer (QSD) Certificate And/Or Current Qualified Industrial Storm water Practitioner (QISP) certification

  • Current Trainer of Record for California general Industrial and/or Construction Stormwater permits.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Caltrans training modules and guidance documents.

  • Caltrans stormwater training and guidance experience a plus.
