AECOM Sr Project Manager - Remediation in Orange, California

AECOM has an immediate need for a Senior Project Manager to support our Environmental Remediation projects in Southern California. This position will be based in Southern California, Long Beach California to be specific. In this role, this role will be focused on multiple large-scale remediation projects in Southern California to include the management of a team of up to thirty persons including subcontractors. This role will also have regular budgetary, P&L responsibilities. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in managing environmental remediation projects of $10 million dollars or greater - including excavation/removal, impoundment/landfill closure, large scale ground water treatment system installation, residential remediation and D4. As the Sr. project Manager in Southern CA, your experience with environmental projects both in the public and private sectors will be key. The types of project experience should include extensive experience in Southern California and with primarily O&G companies.
Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to the following:
Provides overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies
Support and manager environmental remediation projects
Provides technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, maintains close client interface, and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.
Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned construction project.

Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required
A valid driver's license will be required.
Extensive Experience in Southern California and with O&G companies.
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office - especially MS Project, Excel and P6
Proven project estimating experience, preferably environmental
Successful Technical writing experience
Demonstrated experience with Client and Regulatory interactions
