AECOM Senior Resident Engineer - Railroad Grade Separations in Orange, California

AECOM is looking for a Senior Resident Engineer with railroad grade separation experience to be based out of the Orange, Ontario or Los Angeles offices.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Performs various management, leadership, and people accountability responsibilities for a specific technical group or department.
Has full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating technical assignments.
Generally requires multi-disciplinary knowledge of engineering.
Plans and develops engineering tasks concerned with unique or controversial problems. This involves exploration of subject area, definition of scope and selection of problems for investigation and development of novel concepts and approaches.
Maintains liaison with units within the organization and individuals inside and outside of the organization.
Responsible for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to the field. Work at this level usually requires extensive progressive experience.
Works under minimal supervision. Supervision received is essentially administrative with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits.
Manages group of engineers and/or technicians, coordinating activities of the unit.
Manage construction management contract from pre-construction through project close out.
Effectively manage relationships with client, staff, and contractors.
Assist in pursuits of future CM contracts
Bachelor Degree + 10 years of related experience or AA/AS (US) + 12 YORE or GED + 14 YORE; all including a minimum of 2 years of leadership
Valid driving license required
Ideally 15+ years of experience
Ideally 5+ recent years of experience as Resident Engineer
Railroad experience with BNSF, UPRR, and/or SCRRA
California PE license is required
CCM is desirable
Experience working on railroad grade separation projects
Proven track record of delivering railroad projects on time and on budget
Experience successfully winning CM contracts
In depth knowledge of railroad and structure construction
Excellent written and oral communication skills
