Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Mid-level Federal Planner for immediate employment for the Orange, CA office. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:

  • Planner to support planning team on large multi-disciplinary federal master planning projects

  • Support project teams in data collection, data analysis, preparation of plans and maps, GIS production, report graphics production, and workshop/meeting documentation

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Architecture, Planning , or Landscape Architecture

  • 3+ years of experience in master planning project/site planning

  • Ability to analyze data pertaining to space utilization, constraints to development, and future requirements and present conclusions

  • Understanding of military planning process

  • Ability to work independently as well as in multi-disciplinary teams

  • Excellent note-taking skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and GIS required

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite required

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite required

  • Ability to travel

  • Due to the nature of this position, US Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong design skills preferred

  • Strong hand sketching skills preferred

  • AICP certification track preferred

  • Strong writing skills preferred
