AECOM Inspector I in Orange, California
AECOM is seeking an Inspector I to be based in Orange or Long Beach, California.

Perform underwater inspections on existing waterfront structures and marine facilities, including but not limited to wharves, piers, bridges, piles, seawalls, sheetpile walls, dams, embankments and vessel mooring structures and floating structures’ anchor systems.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on dive gear.
Assist in preparing and planning projects requiring underwater inspection, repair or construction work, and prepare project execution plans, dive plans and safe work plans for the above projects.
Assist in preparing and planning for project execution, equipment procurement, personnel and equipment budgeting for underwater investigative and/or repair work.
Prepare written reports based on underwater investigations, include drawings, material quantity take-offs and repair cost estimates.
Show initiative, ingenuity and leadership in executing day-to-day job tasks and be a contributing member to the team.
High School diploma or GED or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Certified Commercial Diver and active ADCI Certification
Currently valid Dive Qualifications, including Dive Medical, CPC (including AED), First Aid, Emergency Oxygen
Currently valid California driver’s license
FHWA NHI Underwater Inspections course NHI-130091 is a plus.
FHWA NHI Safety Inspection of in-Service Bridges course NHI-130055 is a plus.
This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.
Relocation assistance is not provided for this role.
The selected candidate will be subject to a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Registration Screening (MVR).
