AECOM is seeking an Entry Level GIS Specialist to be based in Omaha, NE.
This position is expected to begin in May/June 2021.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Creating, editing, and maintaining geospatial databases and metadata using ArcGIS software products
Reviewing data for currency, accuracy, quality, or completeness, and performing GIS analysis and map production for a variety of projects..
Developing mobile GPS/GIS and web solutions and applications to support project field efforts.
Working closely with project staff to produce detailed and concise mapping output for client delivery.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Valid US Driver’s License.
Experience using Esri ArcGIS products, including ArcGIS Desktop and Pro, as well familiarity with Esri extensions such as 3D Analyst and Spatial Analyst, to collect, manage, process, and map spatial data.
Proficient in cartographic principles dealing with projections, scales, map layout, and map composition.
Familiarity with GIS data management and data transformation implementations for spatial and non-spatial applications.
Ability to organize, manage, and display environmental data in a clear, concise manner.
Excellent professional, organizational, communication, and problem solving skills.
Experience using standard office computer applications and software, including MS Word, Excel, and Access.
Candidate must be able to work independently with minimal supervision; interact with and direct others; and communicate in a professional and timely manner.
Experience coding/scripting for the ArcGIS environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
