Job Description
AECOM has an immediate need for a motivated Administrative Assistant to work in our Omaha, NE office.
The responsibilities of this role include, but may not be limited to the following:
Assists Project Managers with project related tasks such as preparing progress reports, data deliverables to clients, and schedules.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, Project)
Under general supervision, resolves most problems but refers more complex issues to higher levels.
Processes documents (including indexing into database and/or enterprise content management system).
May serve as a resource to others in the resolution of problems and issues.
May orient, train, assign, and check the work of lower-level employees (including, but not limited to receptionist).
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
HS diploma +2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated relevant equivalency of experience and/or education
Valid U.S. Driver's License
Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting EPC/A&E firms or other construction contractors
Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills are also essential
Team player, but self-sufficient, positive, and collaborative approach
Ability to frequently operate in a self-directed mode, and prioritize in a multi-tasking environment
Attention to detail, meeting deadlines, and follow through to completion
Ability to demonstrate professional discretion
Proactive, anticipate actions and impacts, and exhibit sound judgement and problem-solving skills
