AECOM Lead Inspector in Odessa, Texas

AECOM is seeking a Lead Inspector for immediate employment in either Odessa, Lubbock, or San Angeles, TX.
Serves as technical expert in field inspections ad audits, recognized as the 'go-to' expert internally and externally
Provides guiding direction for inspections on engagements.
Sets direction and goals for inspection and/or business line.
External spokesperson on technical project issues.
Leads the audit strategy for individual's area of expertise.
Key point of contact for engagements and member of AECOM senior leadership team.
Performs daily field inspections and maintains inspection records.
High School Diploma or demonstrated equivalent
6 years of highway & bridge construction inspection and/or material testing experience
10+ years of highway & bridge construction inspection and/or material testing experience preferred
Previous experience with pavement resurfacing, rehabilitation/repair/reconstruction of asphalt and/or concrete pavement, bridge construction/repair experience.
TxDOT’s Site Manager to document construction inspection and payment.
Knowledge of Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (TMUTCD).
TxDOT (stormwater erosion control, work zone traffic control, etc.) or equivalent training
ACI- Grade 1 (Concrete Field Testing Technician)
TxAPA- Level 1B (Roadway Specialist)
OSHA 10 hour certification
Relocation benefits are not available for this position
This position is not eligible for US work authorization
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Ability to move up to 75 pounds.
Ability to work in cramped spaces (bend, stoop, crawl) and at varied heights.
Ability to work hours other than 8 to 5, and weekends and/or night shifts.
Valid Texas Class C driver’s license required.
