AECOM is seeking a Senior Practice Leader to lead the growth of our Reuse Practice in Americas and also support related Water and Wastewater practices on the West Coast. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the further growth of AECOM’s successful reuse, wastewater and water with established clients as well as develop new relationships. The candidate will participate in development of our regional strategic plan, branding AECOM through publications, presentations, identifying related pursuit opportunities and lead specific project pursuits/proposals and be active as a principal or a senior member or on-going projects. As a senior member of the AECOM management team, the candidate will be responsible for:
Participating and contributing towards the development of AECOM's annual - regional/national strategic plans in reuse, water and wastewater.
Will partner with the National Business Line and Regional Market Sector Leader in the development of Client Accounts and Capture Plans.
Will maintain a high national and regional profile as a Leader in reuse practice.
Work closely with the West Regional team to identify and pursue opportunities and support the growth of AECOMs municipal infrastructure market in the West region.
Manage proposal development and participate in client interviews.
Interact and build relationships with clients and their technology experts and serve as the technical director on specific projects.
Participate in the development of Project Execution Planning, Costing and Staff Allocations of Resources.
Attend conferences and workshops to strengthen existing relationships, establish new client relationships, identify emerging technologies and market drivers.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a Masters or PhD in Environmental Engineering or related field.
15+ years experience in planning, design and construction services with at least 5 of those years in leading a technical practice and client account management.
Proven knowledge in water, planning studies, condition assessments and rehabilitation and repair of reuse, water treatment and wastewater projects.
Strong skills in Project Management and Contract Administration.
Team player, willing and able to work with people in multiple geographic areas determining program objectives and requirements, organizing programs and projects, and developing standards and guides for diverse engineering activities.
Related licensing and/or certifications in California.
