AECOM Geometric Engineer in North Island, New Zealand

Job Summary

Our Civil Infrastructure team is expanding and we are looking for a Geometric Engineer to join us as a key member of our multi-disciplined engineering team and contribute to the delivery of geometric projects.

Day to day you will enjoy a variety of responsibilities including ;

  • Preparation and presentation of proposals to clients

  • Contribute to successful project completion by providing technical services in accordance with project time, quality and cost objectives as agreed with Project Managers

  • Contribute to portions of broader assignments including the provision of detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and testing

  • Enhancing relationships with clients and internal multi-disciplinary colleagues

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience in geometrics engineering and ideally familiar with Auckland Transport standards and/or AUSTROADS.

  • Experience with Open Roads Design, 12D and / or MX

  • Experience in geometrics engineering design

  • Demonstrated skills in managing projects (or components of) and budgets to meet time and resource requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification (preferably Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or similar)

  • 2+ years experience
