AECOM Software Quality Assurance Engineer in Norfolk, Virginia

Position requires the support of the software development life cycle of a medium-to-large scale project including verification and validation of testing process guidance, risk analysis and priority assessment, as well as development of test plans and cases to support application code integration. Also required to support configuration management tasks of test plans/cases, document control, and the coordination of requirement changes on projects as required.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related area and 2-4 years of job-related experience working on and supporting software application testing.
Ability to work with business analysts and application developers to understand design and operational requirements and implement suitable testing solutions.
Lead automated testing processes including test cases, test scripts and test data using automation solutions that capture and support design and operational requirements.
Lead software development test team using AGILE methodologies.
Understand and review technical specifications and documentation to implement test programs and processes to be certified.
Implement and lead processes to create, modify, and run test plans/cases to certify system functionality and/or changes.
Ability to generate and report various testing artifacts in support of developmental and stakeholder needs.
Direct configuration management tasks (test plans/cases, source code control, coordination of requirement changes) on projects as required.
Thorough knowledge of testing processes and types (“Box” Approaches, Testing Levels, Testing Types) as well as related web application testing tools.
Develop and implement documentation of procedures, application reference materials, workflows and business processes.
Provide and validate estimates for assigned tasks.
Ability to supervise project tasks independently and as part of a team.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
Understand all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle
Manage workflow and interface work items with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS).
May write trace-ability matrices and test reports
Possess a Secret Clearance.
Experience with Microsoft Test Manager
Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS).
SCRUM Master Certification
ASTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level
Possess an Active Secret Clearance.
