Position Title Engineering Technician IV

AECOM is actively seeking an Engineering Technician to provide engineering support to Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC). The position will be located at the Naval Base, Norfolk, VA
Research technical documentation and develop test plans for use in troubleshooting, fault localization and failure analysis
Test, Troubleshoot, remove, rebuild and/or replace, reinstall and re-test submarine Combat Systems equipment, and associated cabling
Assist with the identification of, and procurement of required repair parts
Technical experience with all variants of the AN/BYG-1 Combat System
Assist with the removal of obsolete equipment and the installation and testing of an updated/upgraded Combat System Suite
Provide training on Combat Systems repair procedures and associated equipment as required
Vocational/technical training beyond high school and at least seven years of job-related experience or equivalent.
Excellent communications and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs.
Position requires the ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and design solutions to problems in operational hardware and software.
Position requires travel, approx. 30%.
Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
