AECOM is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to be based in NY or NJ, to lead projects in the Transportation Field.

BA/BS degree and 6 plus years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Must have PE license
Masters of Science degree in Civil Engineering with 10 years of job-related work experience; advanced degree preferred
Ability to lead/manage geotechnical engineering investigations
Provides guidance to entry-level engineers.
Ability to prepare geotechnical engineering reports and construction documents
Has competent analysis/design experience with slope stability, retaining walls, shallow, ground improvements, and deep foundations
Strong computer skills including extensive knowledge of technical software; Group, LPile, Settle3D, Geo studio Seep/W, Slope/W and Sigma/W, GRLWeap, and MathCAD to complete engineering analysis and prepare design calculations.
Prepare design drawings and construction specifications, and review construction submittals for compliance with contract requirements and design assumptions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to work in a team/inter-disciplinary environment
Assist in business development efforts, preparation of proposals and cost estimates
