Job Summary:
The Real Estate Asset Management Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for the business unit by building a positive relationship and effectively communicating the business’s Real Estate goals. The Real Estate Manager will simultaneously challenge and guide the business unit at critical junctures to ultimately create a holistic strategy. This person will be responsible for one of America’s regions, or approximately 1.5 million square feet and 100+ office locations. Working in a dynamic environment, the Real Estate Manager is expected to achieve measurable targets in service and quality and reduce real estate lease and operating costs within the assigned regions.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Acts as the single point of contact to AECOM’s Region Executive and Region Finance Directors.
Creates an open dialog and level of honesty with the business to communicate gaps, understand the operating objectives and ultimately follow impeccable execution and communication
Determines business’s priorities and concerns and tailors a solution to meet those needs while balancing corporate governance and standards
Influence business unit to co-create strategic solutions
Quick and Agile to business unit, internal to Americas Real Estate and Facilities Services staff, and external business partners. Develop and maintain strong client relationships with the business unit
Manages up to 50 transactions 24 months prior to lease expiration/renewal option
Articulates the objectives and services of the Americas Real Estate and Facilities Services department
Provides timely, informative, and actionable reports to the Region Executive, Region Finance Director, and other stakeholders across AECOM’s enterprise
Creates real estate solutions and strategies that drive efficient use of all real estate assets
Identifies and acts on unique opportunities, delivers cost savings, improves utilization
Oversees and ensures successful delivery of real estate strategies, transactions, and projects
Provides direction and guidance to Transaction Manager, Facilities Management, and Project Management Office for execution of strategies
Acts as operations advocate while balancing corporate governance and standards
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree plus eight (8) years of related experience in client relationship management and/or corporate real estate, including strategy development, leasing, and/or workplace/facilities management, in relevant geographic locations throughout the Americas or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Ability to travel approx. 20% with travel inside of the USA and travel into Canada and South America – a valid U.S. Passport, or the ability to obtain one, is required.

Excellent communication skills written and oral; Must be able to articulate compelling business cases
Ability to indirectly influence transactional outcomes with a strong analytical approach
Strong client management skills
Service provision responsibilities
Superior problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and ability to organize complex concepts and information
Able to work in and deliver services in a team-based and matrix environment
Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook

Offered rate of compensation (for Colorado locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range is $100,000 - $140,000 annually.
