Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to be based in New York, NY.

About Construction Management—Leeding Builders Group (LBG)

Leeding Builders Group (LBG) is a New York-based construction manager specializing in open shop commercial, residential and hospitality projects. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist the Superintendent and Project Manager with the overall plan for construction of the project.

  • Assist with the project cost control process.

  • Assist with the procurement phase.

  • Assist with the project punch list and close out process.

  • Assist in the development of cost estimates of assigned projects.

  • Assist with preparing the job start-up and close-out checklists.

  • Assist with resolving field initiates questions.

  • Prepares or directs the preparation of project studies, reports, etc.

  • Obtain contract schedule of values for approval by the Project Manager

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or other related field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

  • Valid Drivers License

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software

  • Knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as Microsoft Office, CADD, HCS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS)

  • Non-Exempt Position: Offered rate of compensation (NYC locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The hourly range for this position is $33.07-$57.87
