AECOM Director, Global Transportation - Port Terminal Operators in New York, New York

Job Summary

AECOM’s Transportation Goods Movement Market Sector provides infrastructure solutions across the global supply chain. Within the Goods Movement group, we provide planning, design, and construction expertise to manufacturers, ports, freight railroads, e-retailers and trucking companies.

The Global Goods Movement team is looking for a new member to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Manage AECOM’s relationships with global port terminal operators and regional port authorities.

  • Have proactive interactions with our critical client base to introduce new services and innovations, creating strategic partnerships and unlocking valuable projects.

  • Be able to describe the whole of AECOM’s services from ports & marine design to environment, facilities, etc. Be accountable for significant growth with a small subset of goods movement clients, addressing individual and team KPIs.

  • Collaborate globally with our ports & marine project teams to understand our capabilities, innovations and sell those to our critical ports& marine clients.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or a related field of study.

  • Twelve years of experience working in the ports and marine industry, either as a client or as a consultant, and 4 years of leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree.

  • Fifteen or more years of related experience.
