Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented and hardworking Project Architect for immediate employment in the New York, NY office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to

  • Supports the CM team in oversight of quality cost and schedule for the architectural elements and finishes of the facility

  • Coordinates with Cost/Schedule engineers for reporting of constriction progress, cost and schedule status

  • Assists in review of progress payment requisitions and invoices

  • Assists with identification, tracking and resolution issues

  • Coordinate with Senior Inspector to resolve Deficiency Notices and other Quality issues

  • Assists Senior Inspector in maintenance of record and as built drawings and change tracking

  • Assists with resolution of construction and technical issues in the field

  • Reviews Inspectors shift reports and other records for accuracy

  • Coordinates with office engineers regarding progress photos and documents needed to support construction progress meetings and reports

  • Assists with preparation of weekly, monthly, and ad hoc technical reports and resolutions of claims, etc

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or other related field required

  • 3+ years relevant experience with architecture including field administration experience

  • Strong PC skills with knowledge of Expedition and MS Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)

  • Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in underground construction preferred
