AECOM Senior Water Design Manager in New York City, New York

AECOM is seeking a Senior Water Design Manager to be based in New York City.
This position will provide senior oversight and direction to a variety of key local water projects and pursuits. Familiarity with water infrastructure design and NYCDEP planning and design requirements and SOPs, is required.
In this role, you will:
Focus heavily on the development and detailed technical delivery of water system projects to include municipal drinking water conveyance and treatment systems.
Provide senior leadership to our project managers, design managers and engineering disciplines.
Lead key pursuits for municipal water system projects.
Oversee hydraulic calculations and other engineering related calculations for large diameter piping and valves.
Provide guidance to project teams and clients on equipment selection and system design recommendations.
Oversee technical specifications, equipment and piping plans, elevations, section and details.
Verify compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards / practices.
Confirm project delivery in accordance with AECOM’s Project Delivery System.

Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership.
25 years of experience in design/construction of large-scale municipal water projects.
Strong Understanding of New York City’s water supply system
Professional Engineer license in New York or ability to gain via reciprocity within 6 months.
