AECOM Electrical Inspector in New York City, New York

AECOM is seeking a Electrical Inspector, this position will have overall responsibility for the design and coordination of technical issues among various disciplines on transportation projects involving highways, bridges and transit/rail structures and facilities.
The current $11.1 billion MTA-East Side Access program provides for new Long Island Rail Road service to the east side of Manhattan, supplementing existing service to Penn Station on Manhattan’s west side and Atlantic Terminal in Brooklyn. The project encompasses work in multiple locations in Manhattan, Queens and the Bronx and includes more than 8 miles of tunneling
Maintains records and review/oversees electrical component testing and commissioning. Develop punch lists for correction and acceptance.
Verifies that the electrical portions of the GC scope of work are finished and installed in compliance with the plans and specifications
Review and comment on safe work plans (SWPs) and contractor work plans (CWPs) for all electrical subcontractor operations.
Maintain quality assurance records and daily reports for electrical work.
Prepare NCR (Noncompliance Reports) and follow up with GC and electrical subcontractors to verify corrections are made timely.
Assists in review and comment on electrical submittals, shop drawings, and RFI's. Provides comments to GEC
- HS + 8 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education or HS + 8 YORE or AA/AS (US) + 6 YORE or Diploma/Certificate (Canada) + 6 YORE
10 years experience in Construction Management with emphasis in inspection
Licenses, Certifications, and/or registrations : OSHA 10 hr.
Special Skills/Training Requirements : 10+ years in electrical engineering
